Grazing techniques, hunting methods and management plans are the same as for all hunts.

Turkey hunts consist of any five days from mid-April to mid-May. The bag limit is two birds and is guided one guide for two hunters. The lodging is the same as the deer and elk packages. Meals will be on your own.

What can we say about this one except...Merriam's, Merriam's, Merriam's! The largest game bird in North America, Merriam's Wild Turkey, thrives on the V7 Ranch. You'll find these majestic birds amongst some 12,000 acres of the V7 Ranch. This is one FUN hunt! Don't worry if you can't call one of these birds in. Our ranch guide will be more than happy to "gobble" in a big one for you. If you are hunting the "Grand Slam", then make the V7 Ranch your spot for the Merriam's...this is one hunt we'll almost guarantee! There's no better place in the Southwest to hunt Merriam's Turkeys than at the V7 Ranch!

Pricing and hunt dates:
Mid-April through Mid-May    $1,300
Non-hunting guests are welcome at an additional $75 per day, per person.

To Book a Hunt:
Send half of the price of hunt selected as a down payment by personal check, certified check, or money order. Make checks payable to V7 Ranch. As an alterative for early booking, you may pay one fourth down and this will reserve your spot until January 1st of the hunt year, in which you intend to hunt. At such time we would ask for the 2nd quarter (making up the half). 
The last half will be paid upon arrival and must be cash, certified check or money order.
